Family  Pulsellidae

Pulsellid tusk shells

 

 

 

The Pulsellidae is classified within the order Gadilida and has the anatomical and radula characters of the order. The shells are small, up to 12 mm in length, smooth, and either circular or sub-circular in cross section.

Identification notes: Shells are small, up to 12 mm in length, without sculpture (although the shell surface may be irregular), and the cross section is not circular.
