Eatonina hutchingsae Ponder & Yoo, 1980

Description: Shell minute, short spired, spire outline weakly convex. Protoconch of 1½ whorls, teleoconch of 2½ convex whorls. Surface glossy, smooth apart from weak growth lines and spiral scratches. Aperture nearly circular, outer lip prosocline. Umbilicus closed or open as a minute chink. Colour when fresh orange-brown lightening to yellow at outer lip, inner lip and columella darker brown.

Size: Up to 1.3 mm in length.

Distribution: Noosa Heads, Queensland, southwards to eastern Victoria and eastern Tasmania.

Habitat: Lives on algae and debris in the lower littoral and sublittoral (Ponder & Yoo, 1980). Common.
