Curveulima abrupta Laseron, 1955

Description: Shell very small, spire slightly to strongly bent, protoconch large. Whorls straight or convex in outline, smooth. Scars from previous positions of outer lip aligned from whorl to whorl, suture not bent at positions of scars. Aperture relatively short and wide, one-fifth of shell length. Outer lip strongly convex in profile, sinuous with small sinus below suture. Shell transparent, becoming opaque white with age.

Size: Syntypes 2.3 and 2.9 mm in length.

Distribution: Known only from 2 syntypes from Manly Beach, Sydney, NSW.

Habitat: Unknown. Rare.
