Family  Cyclochlamydidae

Cyclochlamydids

 

 

 

This family consists of about 30 species living in the littoral to bathyal zones. Shells of the family differ from the Propeamussiidae by having a sculptured protoconch and a different crystalline microstructure to the shell. Only one species is known from NSW.
